SELECTION PROCESS

Applying for admission to IDC has three phases.

Phase 1 - Initial Application, and Interview

Potential clients are encouraged to submit an expression of interest through the initial application form. A staff member will then contact you and arrange to meet with one of our business Development staff to discuss your business concept.  If during this discussion it is considered that the project has merit, you will be asked to proceed to preparing proposal for consideration.

Phase 2 - The Application

The candidate must submit a written proposal which describe the business, the market for the product or service, financial requirements and an initial budget, a market analysis for the opportunity, management arrangements and structure.  The prescribed form for this application will be provided to the applicant after passing Phase 1.

Phase 3 – Final evaluation by the committee & acceptance

If the selection committee thinks the plan has potential, the candidate will be required to fill the final application form.

Following the admission, both parties move to enter into an Incubator agreement which will detail the services to be provided to the applicant and all costs involved.
